It is Thursday night farm-to-table dinners in a community garden in North Corktown; it is pop-up brunches; it is personal chef work and catering; it is workshops and classes. They offer catering and in the fall/winter, they offer ready-made meals for you to take home with you. Each Sunday, you will receive an update with the upcoming week's menu. Meals are gluten-free and refined sugar-free. They use humanely-raised (hormone/antibiotic-free, free range) white meat and fish only.

GRAND CIRCUS GALA

Grand Circus Park Historic District

The private event will feature live music from neighboring entertainment venues, cocktails, and appetizers from Grand Circus Park neighborhood restaurants.

Txakoli + Pintxos Patio Party @ Motor City Wine 6PM-9PM

Join us for a Txakoli (pronounced cha-co-lee) and Pintxos party on the patio featuring 6 wines and tapas from the mysterious Basque region of Spain.

Txakoli is most known for being a super crisp white wine known for it's aggressive acidity (A regular customer of ours refers to white Txakoli as the wine equivalent of a Margarita!), however there are also some delicious reds and rosés.

We'll be showing 6 Txakoli wines including a red and rosé and even a Basque cider as a bonus as well.

Some special Basque Pintxos (Tapas) will be prepared by Christina Gibbs and are included in the ticket price.

Café 78 invites you to immerse yourself in a sumptuous brunch of beats, art and pop-up shopping. Contemporary leaders of the Detroit music community create the sonic ambience while guests enjoy classic cocktails, an array of Anthology coffee drinks, and a menu of seasonal food specialties curated by James Beard Award-nominated chef Marc Djozlija. Plus, the MOCAD galleries are open!

July 19: Daniel Andres + Detroit Détroit Is The New Black. Dan has been involved with that Detroit electronic music scene for over a decade, pulling from techno, house disco and Motown influences.

Detroit Is The New Black represents local and international designers, visionaries and builders of Detroit.

NEW WAVE ART BIKE TOUR: In this tour we will cycle around the city looking at a large variety of art throughout the city. The tour will range from works from the Cass Corridor movement to present day. Stops on the tour will include; Belle Isle, City Sculpture, the Dequindre Cut, Hart Plaza and a few others. Marc Langlois will be leading the tour. We'll meet at 2PM and leave around 2:30

Feel free to walk through the museum or stop in Café 78 for a bite to eat or drink. The ride will end at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD at 6pm.

Don’t miss the chance to see Nick Cave’s soundsuits in action during a series of live performances in the city of Detroit. Cave has partnered with local dancers and musicians, and given each group a “box” of supplies they will use to create a live performance. All performances are FREE and open to the public.

The first performance will be held at the Ruth Ellis Center in Highland Park, and will be choreographed by Marcus White/White Werx with music by DJ John Jammin Collins.
