All I can say is The Peterboro is perfect. Officially open March 17th, this is a great place for any group.  Chef Brion Wong's recipes are delicious.  We are upset I couldn't stay for the Late Night menu which includes CHEESEBURGER SPRING ROLLS!  Late Night is 10pm until close.

The featured Chinese American menu is a personal reflection of 9 years of professional cooking blended with childhood memories and a few years of watching Anthony Bourdain eat everything good in the world.  In a few short years he has had the good fortune to work with a host of incredibly talented and experienced chefs, including Doron Wong, Susur Lee, Alex Guarnaschelli and Gray Kunz.  Moving to the Motor City almost two years ago, he is eager to evolve, expand, and feed the people of Detroit.  .

About The Peterboro

The Peterboro is a casual restaurant located in Detroit's Historic Chinatown serving contemporary American Chinese food. They also have an extensive bar menu featuring craft cocktails, beer, wine, sake and sherry.

The Peterboro is another restaurant brought to you by the Detroit Optimist Society, the group behind The Sugar House, Wright & Company, Cafe 78 and Honest John's. They are extremely excited to offer Chef Brion Wong's delicious food to a hungry Midtown area!

We definitely had to grab several small plates and we loved EVERYTHING.  The drink menu has some great cocktails including the Ancient Chinese Secret.  Now that I know about it, this won't be a secret for long.

If you like crab rangoon, you are going to be addicted to these! They melt in your mouth and disappear fast.  We also tried the Vegetable Fried rice which had the perfect amount of seasoning.  The crispy pork belly was so good with the bean curd paste.  I would drink that paste if it was socially acceptable.  Something you should try if you like scallops then try Chef Brion's Scallop Crudo.  The ponzu sauce with the most tender scallop's I have ever had was so light and delicious, you have to try it!  The menu is reasonably priced and the dining experience is great for family, friends or significant others.

Overall, I am so happy The Peterboro is open and will definitely have date night, girls night or taking clients to this restaurant.
