I finally got over to Citizen Yoga downtown! What a gorgeous studio. Love the décor, and I had to avert my gaze from all of the jewelry and cute stretchy pants in the retail area.

I tried the Slow Burn class... You know you’re getting it when you return to downward facing dog and rivers of sweat run down into your hair.

They have an awesome deal right now for new students: first class free, then 5 classes for $25… One of those deals where it’d be rude if you didn’t!

We had a little family dinner at La Rondinella in Eastern Market one evening last week. Get the Fried Polenta appetizer and the Stinco (pork shank) for your main. Seriously, you’re welcome.

I loved the DIA when I visited last year. When I hit the DIB (Detroit Institute of Bagels) in Corktown last week I was similarly, though differently, impressed.

You’ll be tempted to change your relationship status after you taste the #7 Lew Silver Bagel Sandwich. Get it on an Everything bagel if you want to take the romance to a whole other level.

 

Clearly I spent the weekend eating all of the things. These babies right here will have you cheating on your new lox bagel boyfriend so fast it’ll make your head spin.

 

Four fresh-out-of-the-fryer beignets from the Beignets2go food truck in Eastern Market are just $5. Too delicious to describe.
