In honor of the Q Line's Public debut this Friday, May 12th, we put together a list of our favorite things to do at each of the 12 stops.


12) GRAND STATION:

STARTING JUNE 1ST, WATCH A MOVIE ON WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHTS AT NEW CENTER PARK.

 

11) Amtrack:

Sip on a cocktail while listening to live music on the patio, at Northern Lights Lounge.

 

10) Amsterdam:

Play volleyball and soak up the sun on the patio, at Z's Villa.

 

9) Ferry:

Find a new outfit at Frida and The Peacock Room.

Indulge at Chartreuse Kitchen and Cocktails.

Get a hat from the Carhartt Store (a Detroit wardrobe staple). 

 

8) Warren:

see world-class art at the DIA. After, enjoy a glass of pinot and charcuterie at the Kresge Court.

Read a book in the Detroit Public Library.

 

7) Canfield:

Everything and anything at the Majestic Theater Complex; bowl at Garden Bowl, pizza at Sargent Pepperoni, brunch at the Majestic Cafe, see a show at the Majestic or Magic Stick.

Enjoy an artisan cup of tea at Socra Tea.

 

6) Mack/MLK:

Dinner and cocktails at Peterboro.

Get a pint at 8 Degrees Plato- another dog friendly stop!  

Fresh ink from Iconic Tattoo.

 

5) Sibley:

See a show at the Masonic Temple.

Dance the day away at Temple Bar.

 

4) Foxtown:

See a show at the Fox or Filmore

Get a burrito from Hot Taco

 

3) Grand Circus:

Take your furry friend to the Grand Circus Dog Park.

Go to a Tiger's game at Comerica Park.

 

2) Campus Martius:

Enjoy cocktails in the sand at The Fountain Beach Bar.

Get a peanut butter cookie- or anything at all- from Avalon

Check out the shops on Woodward Ave; Moosejaw, Under Armour, Nike, Warby Parker, John Varvatos, and Detroit is the New Black

 

1) Congress:

Take a walk on the River Front and soak up the sun in Hart Plaza.
