Batch Brewing Company - Detroit's First Nano Brewery - First Look

Had the pleasure of checking out Batch Brewing Company this weekend for a sneak peak at Detroit's first nano brewery.
Nano breweries are small batches and for Batch, this means 8 kegs at a time. The focus is just making great beer, hence small production. I sampled the highest alcohol beer in the joint and it was very easy going down. For a liquor and wine person, I was extremely happy. I also sampled the bavarian pretzels and arancini off the bar bites menu and they were phenomenal.
Batch Brewery was the winner of the 2013 Hatch Detroit contest business incubator of which they won $50,000 to help open the brewery. Stephen Roginson's energy is off the charts and love for this project goes to the core. Being a marketing guru, musician, beer producer, and the list goes on, this place is going to be a machine and a very long time staple in Corktown. History is in the making with places and people like Stephen behind these amazing projects. Can't wait to see what is to come.
