Spring Cleaning Volunteer Opportunities
We know that we are always looking for ways to volunteer in the city and we hope that there are Many other good Samaritans that are looking to help the motherland as well. Check out these volunteer options to shine up the neighborhoods after a cold winter and get ready for the spring!
Since becoming an organization, Community Push has adopted a temporary home at the site of the now defunct Wigle Recreation Center. After sitting abandoned and decrepit for nearly a decade, the building was demolished, and Community Push has since created "The Wig" in its absence. "The Wig" is a DIY skatepark built, maintained, and utilized by local skaters and youth in the community. Join Community Push and friends on Sunday, April 3rd anytime between 10 AM-7 PM for a community clean up. We need all hands on deck to ensure we have a clean and safe public space for children and families in our community. If you are interested in donating paint, rollers, brushes, garbage bags, gloves, etc. or have questions about how you can get involved, please contact Kelsey Hubbell via email, firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to working with members of our community to beautify this space and create a stronger awareness about Community Push's mission and future programming.
