Motor City Casino Bloggers Night Out
What an amazing night at Bloggers Night Out. Motor City Casino invited j'Adore Detroit as a guest and it was unforgettable. If you haven't had a chance to dine at Iridescence at Motor City Casino Hotel you need to experience it. The view is breathtaking! Thank you to Motor City Casino & Hotel for this VIP experience!
There is a new addition to Iridescence for the Wine lovers, a private dining table surrounded by an impressive wine selection that rotates. If interested call for reservations of the private dining room.
Dessert, as full as we were, was a must! The Milky Way and Flourless Chocolate Torte paired perfectly with a hot cup of coffee.
After dinner we were invited to a Suite at Sound Board, Motor City Casino's Music Venue. The suite was located next to the stage, which offered seating in the suite or in prime seating. Margaret Cho was HILARIOUS!!
Dining at Iridescence was such a treat! Our table ordered a variety of appetizers. Even the bread selection was beautiful! A gorgeous appetizer was the Himalayan Salt-Seared Tartare which included Wagyu with smoked aioli, pickled mushrooms, french breakfast radish, potoao gaufrettes, Lamb with black quinoa tabbouleh, sourdough tartine, harissa, Tuna with mustard wasabi vinaigrette, avocado, and a togarashi rice puff. We also had oysters on the half shell sparkling wine migonette.
We decided to try to the Cheese Plate which was extremely generous! It included blue cheese and cheddar, miso honey and figs. Before our meal we orded the Lobster Wedge Salad which looks like a work of art containing baby iceberg, tarragon, tarragon aioli, sweet pea tomatoes, lobster crackers, and cucumber maytag dressing.
For Dinner the Surf and Turf was massive! Make sure you are hungry when you order it, it was one of the specials. The Colorado Lamb Chops, with bacon-infused lyonnaise potatoes and rosemary mustard jus was delicious!
Overall, this was a great night! I was able to meet bloggers who love Detroit and food as much as I do! I can't wait to go back to Motor City Casino and Sound Board soon.
