Beckett on Board: A Little Magic in Corktown

After a recent family getaway to the spiritual and equally stunning Sedona, AZ it felt only natural that we pop into Corktown’s Eldorado General Store during one of our first outings back home.  The stores ethereal yet earthy vibes are highlighted by a collection of stones, handcrafted goods, vintage threads, and unique trinkets.  It’s one of those places where it seems just about everything you see has a story or feels like a one-of-a-kind treasure – making it nearly impossible to walk out empty-handed.

During our visit to this beautifully curated, soulful shop, B scored a mini disco ball that he just had to have while I got around to talking to the super friendly folks that help run the joint. Thank goodness I did, too. Thanks to them my bleak social calendar is looking up. Here’s the scoop…

Eldorado General Store is co-hosting the Spring Into Corktown event that is being held this Saturday, May 20th.  The day’s lineup begins at 9 a.m. and includes activities that are fun for the whole gang! Start off with some light gardening, try a pop-up dance or yoga class, taste local bites, find a new crafty cocktail, or watch the statue unveiling ceremony. Oh, and bring the family ‘cause there is a Kids Corner, too! You seriously can't go wrong at this event, right?!

For more information and specific details surrounding the event, check out the Spring Into Corktown Facebook Page – be sure to say hello to some of our dearest #jadoreapproved pals, like Citizen Yoga, while you are there!

You better make sure Eldorado is on your list of stops that day, too.  Aside from housing all of the aforementioned eye candy, they will be hosting some special friends between 12 and 5 p.m. You can catch up with a few of our favorites like Pot & Box and enjoy some tasty sips crafted by Wolf Moon Mixer Cocktails.

See you there!!
